Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft removing tags and paying less

I am in my thirtys and went to kohls today I bought a box of hot cocoa but added a few in the box. I paid for the box but not the extra.... While I was there I removed a tag from a bra and I also had a clearance bra. I told the clerk they were on the same rack and did not have a tag. After paying I was stopped by security and the cops came i was giving ticket under 488 pc. This is my first offense do I stand a chance of not getting this on my record

I would say diversion is unlikely. There are different types of theft. The things you did were not simple grab and stash activities. They were advanced techniques, indicative of a professional or practicing thief.
