Roomate Rent Issues.

I rented a two bedroom apartment with my roommate and we both sign the lease in November 2010,for 2yrs,on the 28 of July 2012 she said is moving out, she moved after the first of August and did not pay the rent for July and August. She moved into one of the LandLord other building, i stayed in the Apartment and paid my part .What can i do.

Nothing, because her lease wasn't with you, but your landlord.

If you paid her rent, you might be able to sue her in small claims.

But, then your problem would be collecting, assuming you prevail.

This is one of those times you just walk away.

This is also why you never have a roommate as an adult, they usually screw you.
