help! about 4 years ago my grandparents and i went down to a car lot and purchased a car. they were supposed to be my cosigners. the loan was with WFS financial now Wachovia. i have had the car for 4 years now. a couple of months ago i had realized that the car was not showing up on my credit. since then and now my grandparents have deceased. i have told wachovia that multiple times. they call me asking for them and send them the bill. when i call and dont have my account number i give them my social and it comes up. they say i am the payer to the account. ??? i have battled with them to show the car on my credit. so recently i tried to trade the car in, but am having problems with the registration and the and/or on the registration. long story short i decided to have wachovia come pick up the car. after 4 years they want more and more money from me payoff is $6400!! so i bought a new car without trading my old car in. 4-13 i called wachovia and requested that they come pick up the car. i understand what is going to happen to my credit but is that fair? never on my credit for 4 years and now they want to put a repossession on my credit.?? and how does it work. i mean they say i am just the payee. i want to be able to go to court and dispute the amount.
