Sure you have a right to get a bill with reasonable detail. What is the problem?

Once the car is repossessed the finance company will usually send you a letter with a breakdown of how much it will cost to redeem your vehicle (back payments owed, tow charges, storage charges, etc.) and they will give you a deadline for you to respond with the money to redeem the vehicle. If you have not received a letter like this, call the finance company and ask for a breakdown.
