i'm interested in really learning to "coupon", if i have all this stuff in my home, ie packaged foods, canned foods, sodas, umm...toilet paper, toothpaste, anything other than tobacco or alcohol (unless i can) if i have these items.. can i resell them, legally?? From my home?? online?? i plan to donate to local charities also, but always looking for multiple ways to earn income...

First off - You may need a permit/business license to conduct any sort of business. You would have to check with your county or city.

It may also be illegal to sell any products that you might have received for free.

There may be other concerns - sales tax, products not authorized for resell & so on.....

Just some things to consider.

It is technically legal to resell goods in that manner but you can have a few problems.

If you want to advertise the product using the logo, you'll need permission from the copyright holder.

There are tax repercussions, obviously.

And there's also an issue with the warranty.

But in and of itself, there is no law against reselling those 10 packs of diapers that have been sitting (no pun intended) there for a few months; once you buy the item the manufacturer has little-to-no control over what happens next...unless you're selling an item which expressly prohibits the resale of the item.
