Acting as a reseller, do I need permission from stores to resell their products on my website?

You have the right to sell any personal products (purchased products) of yours on your website without permission at any price. But if you chose to sell products from a manufacturer or store without being a license seller; you must adhere to their suggested rules guiding sales and product image. You could get into trouble for misrepresenting their product not for selling it. That is the catch. So just watch out about how you represent their products and your claims about the product….etc. Conditions and way of sale will vary from one product to the other. So you can call the company and they will give you the necessary rules even if you don't want to be their licensed seller. You would be surprised some companies have open policies were you would just do a simple registration in minutes….then receive mails and relevant rules. Do request in writing for documentation purposes and registered mail ………..If they don't respond, you can do it your way. But generally, most companies would care only when representation is not in line with product.
