We hold a celebrity food show open to the public for a small fee and want to retain the right to deny access or evict people who, in our opinion, are undesirable or obnoxious...including but not limited to former employees. How sketchy is this? Do we have that right or is that discrimination? Any assistance on text for a small sign at the Front Desk?

That isn't discrimination but you'd probably want to better define what you're trying to say, e.g. you reserve to evict anyone whom, in the sole discretion of management, is acting in a manner that is disruptive, harrassing, etc. You can always have people sign a receipt that has a short code of conduct in it, e.g. you agree that you will conduct yourself in a civil manner, etc. That's much more effective and enforceable than a sign, especially if you really need to have something of this nature. I can't remember having done something of this nature but I prefer to have the written document and keep it clear, simple, and reasonable and chances are there will be no problems. The goal simply to give you the clear right to do (and without fear of litigation) of what you probably could do even without the paper.
