Restraining order

What all are the qualifications of a restraining order? Ex room mate is harassing me continuously, and I'm worried about it coming to my place of work and/or physical damage to my vehicle. I haven't kept the messages or the voicemails he's left, can I still file restraining order to prevent it from escalating?

A restraining order isn't made of Kevlar, it's paper. It won't stop an idiot from harassing or harming you. You'll need proof to pursue one. So, why not change your phone number and get a new email address and avoid all contact with the idiot? It's easier.
