My ex-roommates have each filed a restraining order against me for "Stalking". My counselor has advised me to counteract that with Psychological Abuse restraining order as he is a trained professional in the area of mental health but not at the law. My school's attorney is out until the 11th and I have an appointment next Friday with her. I just need to know if coming back at them with a restraining order is legal.

Defend yourself from the restraining order but don't bother with a psychological abuse argument against them. You will get nowhere.
Stay away from them.
Stalking has a specific legal definition. If police haven't been involved don't worry about it.
Let them make silly accusations. Don't lower yourself to their level. Just show up to court and explain why an order is not necessary.
