return to work after workmans comp claim but employer will not let me

My shoulder dislocated while at work. employer will not allow me to come back to work. dr gave note w/no restrictions. employer said get note, then he'd allow me to return to work. now nothing has happened. I call, he wont return calls. I want to know one way or other am I fired. what to do. going broke. its been since January now.

My suggestion would be to file for unemployment. Your employer will be notified that you have filed - that might shake loose some information. I also would definitely contact a workers compensation attorney and review the facts of your situation with him.
