My jurisdiction is: NV

I recently returned from two back-to-back tours (Iraq) to find the house destroyed, plundered and personal valuables (over $25,000 worth and aquired prior to marriage) taken, repairs to the house are estimated to be approximately $7,500. I legally seperated from my spouse while in Iraq with the assistance of JAG and withdrew her power of attorney. While over-seas, I soleley paid over $50,000 in mortgage, returning to all utilities being maxed out and shut off and my credit destroyed (utilities were over $2,000 to reconnect). I have since filed for divorce by publication as she has moved; location unknown. I did find out that she was arrested and charged with felony child abuse in regard to my stepdaughter (and or neglect) and DWI while I was deployed and that she has been assigned a probation officer or case worker in Clark County, NV. Some of the items sold by her were family heirlooms and are not replacable. I have filed a police report regarding some missing weapons, hunting rifles and an antique revolutionary war musket to protect myself in case of any misuse. Do I have sufficiant grounds to file a civil law suit to retrieve monetary damages?
