revocable trust

My mother passed in January of 2015. I just recently learned of a trust that my half-sister is in charge of and names her, my brother and I in this trust. From what I understand this trust can only be distributed after my step-father's death (he is still living). Now, because of differences my brother and I have with our half-sister, is there any way she can exclude us after my step-father's death? I found out about this trust from a reliable 3rd party.

The wording in the trust needs to be followed. She can't change it.

Can she just not tell us when her father (our step-father) dies? She didn't tell us about the trust to begin with. What if she doesn't distribute the estate? Is there a way that oversees her to make sure it is distributed?

She may NOT have to tell you anything about the trust if you are not named as a beneficiary of same.

How can you learn if you are?

That's often difficult.

I suggest you discuss the matter with a lawyer or two in your county.

There MIGHT be certain actions a lawyer can seek on your behalf.
