right of way

I have a right of way on my property. The person that uses it has done adjustments to the right of way. ie widen the road, cutting trees, and using machinery to push road materials. He has also put up a gate so I cannot access the top half of my property. This was all done without any contact or discussion with me. What are my legal rights and what can I do? Thank you

Why not call the police for starters? The second, you're probably best served calling a local real estate attorney who will be familiar with provisions in your area. I'll see if there is someone in your area that we can refer you to if you'd like a name. This is not the kind of issue which is a "do it yourself" - it's after the fact and there will be costs involved unfortunately. There is also writing that must be reviewed, e.g. the right of way.
