Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft roommate accusing me of theft

My roommate and I had a falling out and she decided to move out before the lease was up. Since the cable and internet were in her name, she disconnected the services and demanded the cable boxes back, which I left on the coffee table to avoid contact with her. A few days later she has the cable technician come in to personally remove the box, however it was no longer in my possession. He told her she could file a police report and have the police deal with it. How do I prove my innocence? I know she is only doing this out of spite but can a charge be held against me? I am willing to let the police search my room and everything but canlegal action be taken based on her word?
