I was wking for a dealership and kept having trouble getting paid on deals. I keep good track of my deals and when U R told you just made x-amount and when you get paid its ALWAYS under NEVER over what the commission was intended. And then the charge backs. Holy shit! Charging back $750- 6 months after the sale (dropped to a $100mini deal) WHY? THE GM OF THE STORE SAID" because the car was never UCI'd ( used car inspection)b-4 the car was sold! WHAT ???? FIRST OF ALL, WHERE IN A CAR SALEMANS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES IT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IF WE DONT MAKE SURE THE CAR IS INSPECTED WE ARE NOT PAYING YOU????!!!!!!! WTF? I worked at this location for over 2.1/2yrs and out of an avg of 45-55 salesmen out of this single location(52 when I left., NOBODY NOBODY NOBODY HAS MADE MORE MONEY AS A SALEMEN !!! NOBODY!, So why treat your top guy like a piece of shit?THIS SINGLE LOCATION PULLS IN 71.8MILLION IN ANNUAL REVENUE EVERY YEAR and the one guy who get s there an hour early and makes you more money than any other salesman you treat like a piece of shit! NEVER in 20+yrs has that ever happened. Let me tell you why. Remember earlier when I talked of my elite stature and extraordinary sales compared to others? I am also meticulous and very organized ,taking notes , copies ,the whole 9. THEY DID NOT LIKE THAT!!!! WHY? CUZ THEY KNEW I KNEW. KNEW WHAT? I'll put it like this. I was the only salesmen to my knowledge just about every week having a problem with my commissions or something with my check. FUNNY THOUGH, IT WAS NEVER TO THEIR DETRIMENT, ALWAYS MINE. EVERY TIME! I Usually go through my deals every 2-4 weeks to see if I was paid, if not why, trying to do my part to feed my kids. OVER 20 YRS IN THIS BIZZNESS AND ONCE IN A BLUE MOON I WASN'T PAID ON A DEAL BY AN HONEST MISTAKE OR SOMETHING OF THE SORT. Maybe a customer of mine comes in on my day off. another salemen sells him. They asked to see me initially so that is considered 1/2 my deal, I might accidentally not get paid on that but as soon as I noticed and went to mgmnt they fixed it no problem. Not there! Every mgr spins and spins and spins you for wks months until U go away. Then they threaten your job.Like I said I periodically (monthly) go through my deals. I'm the past 20yrs its very rare but at this dealership the minimum was 2,maximum was 9! 9 DEALS THAT WERE FUNDED ,BILLED OUT,EVERYONE(MANAGEMENT ,SERVICE ,FINANCE ,PORTERS, EVERYONE WAS PAID BUT GUESS WHO..? RIGHT !, ME!!!! I have a 2,3,and6yr old and fiancé 70 and 98 yr old mother and grandmother that depend on me for everything. !!!!
This is the best. I was given by another mgr who was leaving a stack of green aucton receipts showing the actual price of the car they purchased to put into inventory. Heres the problem , every , I MEAN EVERY CAR WAS MARKED UP $3,500.00 on the 'RUN' A FEW DAYS LATER I!!!!!! INTENTIONALLY AND WILLFULLY REDUCING THE SALESMENS GROSS COMMISSIONALBLE PROCEEDS. I saved the best for last!!! PACK!!~
PACK on this specific dealership written pay plan clearly states $400 per used car. Through carelessness of mgmt. a manager who no longer works there gave me a pack sheet not intended for the salesmen for obvious reasons One reason listed a charge as "New Bullshit"$197,8 Not to mention charging the cost of a sfd aftermarket warranty to the actual; cost of the car before the car is even sold? So the customer has no choice but to pay for a warranty if thety want it or not?. That $400 pack is closer to $2,400!! Then there are the 150 plus deals I sold that I never got paid 1cent on!! WHY? MANAGEMENT claims the customer owes the dealership money.Every deal in question can be pulled and the contract stating that all the money down was paid on the date of sale.(All 3...1).the dealership 2)the bank and3) the customers copies will all show the money was paid the day the vehicle was purchased.Its an illegal fraud deal otherwise! I know I have a case . Done an enormous amount of research. Il law states that once a deal is funded the dealership has 13days to pay no matter how you were discharged after that its 3x+2% for every month after that date that they did not pay the salesmen. Then there's punitive damages,(for ex, credit suffered due to this place not paying me on not one of the over 30 deals I sold the last month and 1/2 I worked therer Please give me your professional opinion. Also,if I went class action how long from the date the complaint is filed does it usually take to reach a settlement? If nobody knows about it besides the plaintiff and the defendant what usually happens? Does the dealership in this case try to settle with the lead plaintiff b-4 he goes class action? or once a suit is filed as a class action demanding a jury trial(like I see in all these type cases))does it have to stand as that? Class action? or does the lead plaintiff get a cut of all of the other 5yr former employees? How long,once the complaint is filed does it take to settle. I keep reading that if the law suit like this gets in the news/public eye it will have extremely bad affect on businesss so the company usually starts talking settlements directly after the certification date? Usually a settlement with a "gag" order attached???? How long do these cases take on avg to settle and is there any truth to what I just said?Please help me... a guy I know says You R the best in the Bizzness...
