I recieved care at a emergency room the other day. I DID NOT recieve any kind of pain medication. I was given 12.5mg of Benadryl, and something for a upset stomach. The doctor told me not to drive, that it could be sedating. I left and I moved my car (less then a block) to a adjacent parking lot so I wouldnt get towed, then my father picked me up. I received a letter the other day from the ER saying they called the state patrol reporting me for providing false information to a healthcare provider for driving home which I didnt. Will I get in trouble?

The false info they believed I gave them was that I had a ride home, which I did, but they saw me first move my car, then assumed I drove the whole way home. I just moved it to a connecting parking lot.
