I took out a student loan for a beauty school here in Houston to pursue a cosmetology license. Well, its been about four weeks and I havent learned anything. We do not have a teacher everyday and when the teacher does show up, all she does is talk about her personal love life. A student that has been there longer than me told me that prior to that teacher getting hired, the school had no teacher for 2 months but still continues classes. I guess what my question is are schools able to process financial aid and student loans for a student and have no teacher to teach them the neccessary things? The way I look at it is that this school is taking in students and their money but dont teach. what can i do?
