for example, if a search warrant had been dated and signed for Aug 3, but the time and date on the warrant has a stamp that says Aug 4 at 12:00pm which was the time that the warrant was signed on Aug 3, can this be considered an illegal search&seizure case or can they say that the stamp with the wrong date was a mistake after the search was executed??? The warrant was left in the house on Aug 3 after the search&seizure. Drugs were found and an first time informant was involved that prompted an investigation. Also in the discovery materials this same search warrant with the stamped time and date Aug 4 12:00 pm has been clearly marked out to say Aug 3 12:00 pm. Could they be doing this to cover asses? Is this wrong or not? This happened in Columbia, South Carolina.

If the warrant was left at the time of the search, then there is no argument that it was executed at a later date. You need to hire an attorney and try to cut a deal. If you need a referral, PM me and then post back to this thread.
