seat belt violation

I just got 2 seat belt violations, one for my son(17) who was NOT wearing the seatbelt, and one for me,(WAS wearing my seatbelt) because he is under age. each fine is 103.00. i think it is ridiculous that i have to pay a fine also. Is there any chance to contest this, or will they just blow me off, and tell me to pay both? oh, yeah, by the way, the cop informed me that it is currently CLICK IT OR TICKET month, and that is why he pulled me over, because that is speciffically what he does, all day long on his shifts.

I don't mind paying the original ticket....I just feel that it is totally wrong fining me twice for 1 infraction.
