Security after break-in

The house I'm renting was broken in to first week of November. I have renters insurance and filed a claim and have settled the claim. The property management company communicated with the owner of the property on security issues. The front door is metal and has a deadbolt and knob lock. The door was EASILY broken in with very little damage. I requested a security system and was told that I was welcome to pay for and install one at my cost. The owner only authorized to install a secuirty screen door on the front door, no change in house door locks and then track stoppers in the windows. There is also a back door that is made of wood. It also has a deadbolt lock and a knob lock, however, is wood. The metal door was obviously easily broken in to and I have voiced concerns about the back door as well. The back yard is totally obscured from the vision of any neighbors and a break in at the back door would be even easier. My requests on what is being done about the back door have gone unanswered by the property management place.

What can I do if anything? My lease is up February 28th and I have no intensions on staying, however, if possible, I'd like to get out of it now and just move, or have something done, which it appears isn't going to happen.
I've looked over the landlord/tenant statutes for Nevada and have found nothing that helps.

THanks

It might be better to wait until the lease expires......The time to fight and try to get an agreement with them could take even three months. It is not worth the time and expenditure. You could try to talk to the owners and see if they would let you out of the lease. Cities grievance committees would take so much time you don't even want to wait. Just start searching for a new place came February. Not owners don't like to alter their designs and home format or structures. They must approve any change to the property or you stay in the places per your lease.
