I moved out of my apartment on Oct. 1st. As of today Nov. 4th I haven't recieved my deposit back from my landlord. I have been calling him and leaving him messages and he hasn't returned any of my calls. According to my lease I was to get it back within 10 days of vacating the premises or recieve a letter stating why I wasn't getting it back. What can I do?

Since you neglected to say what state its hard for us to say. You might contact a Tenant/Landlord Attorney in your area

Each state has a timeline in which security deposits (or notification of any amount of such used for damages) must be returned to the former tenant.
In Pennsylvania this is 30 days (which is now past).
You do have the option of filing against your former landlord for double this amount. This filing is typically done in Small Claims Court unless the amount exceeds the limits for Small Claims in your state. Small Claims limit in Pennsylvania is $8000 ($10,000 in Philadelphia).
