We rented out a unit to a secretary (she signed the forms but listed the appraisal firm as the tenant) . So basically she was representing the firm. The unit ended up going thru all the legal auctioning procedures but we never recieved money from the auction due to no one purchasing the unit. So now we would like to sue the firm for the money...Question is: The appraisal firm closed it doors....So who can we legally go after? The secretary that actually signed the lease or the firms owner/president? Please advise what action we can possibly do.
