My brother is US Citizen staying in Menniapolis, Minnesota. My mother, in India (an Indian), is 70+ and depends financially on her son. She asks her son to send 100 dollars a month for her support. Is it too much asked for? Has she any legal rights which she can exercise, to ensure the receipt of the amount on a monthly basis? Please give us a suggestion.

You would have to follow Indian laws.

There is nothing in the MN code requiring an adult child to financially support their parents.

this is between your mother and brother and doesnt concern you. its his decison, and you have no say in the matter. none

Really? How do you know that? Are you familiar with Indian law? Or is this just another of your knee-jerk, one-trick-pony responses?
