My wife and I have been separated and have been living apart for over a year-and-a-half now. My Mother recently passed away naming my wife as the executrix of her will and naming me as the sole beneficiary of her estate. Since my wife and I are not divorced, is she entitled to any portion of my mother's processions or estate?

My wife and I get along, but she seems suddenly territorial and has been staking claim to some of my Mother's belongings. I'm willing to share with her, but she seems to be splitting things up already.

Any advice would be of help.

Thanks,
Chuck

A: Your marital status is irrelevant; what the will says controls.
