We live in Alabama. We own a mobile home, but we rent the land that the mobile home is on. The landlord has rented out this land several times before us. The septic tank situation is horrible. The pipes are above ground, as well as the top of the septic tank. Also, the tank is very small. The top of the tank is cracked with a hole in the top of the side of it. The water runs out and has formed a puddle right beside the tank where the hole is. It's hard to describe but the septic tank situation needs to be improved. Who is responsible for paying for another septic tank to be put in? The landlord or myself?
