I am the coach of a team and I paid a facility $375 for league play. Our understanding when we enter and paid for the league is that there would be four teams. I also assumed that we would have impartial umpires for all games played. Each week our games are changed by who we are playing because one of the teams insist on not playing a certain team. They constantly one week are playing and the next week they are not. I had an arguement with the facility owner who runs the league about it being unethical for a coach in the league to be umpiring games unless we all have that privilage. I also addressed with him that if we couldn't have that changed along with the fact that we want to know who is in the league and when we are playing that we no longer wish to be in the league and would like some type of refund. He has let a team have some type of alternative refund or different use of services because they now do not want to play the teams in the league. I am wanting to know if I am in my legal means to request a refund or for the same type of agreement made with the other team. I do not wish to put my parents and team in a situation that seems to be ify at best. He has given the other team use of the facility to scrimmage other teams. If I can not be refunded or at a prorated amount I would like to be compensated the same way. Can I request this and if he doesn't comply with our request to provide an umpire that does not have an interest in a team participating, a list of what teams are particpating, and a schedule for all games?
Thanks,
