My Ex husband just received a large settlement from an injury that occured while we were married. We had to live on my paycheck while he was injured. I had to bath, feed, and even dress him for months. I have our 2 children and he does not help with them. I was wondering if I was entitled to any of the settlement money since it happened while we were married. I live in Louisiana and do not know how the laws work here. I cannot afford to go to a lawyer right away and am looking for anyone who can help answer my questions.
