I am in the process of being charged with and pleading guilty of 3 misdemeanors:

M1: Theft by Unlawful Taking- Movable Prop
M1: Criminal Conspiracy Aiding- Theft by Unlawful Taking- Movable Prop
M3: False Reports- Offense Did Not Occur

I do have one previous misdemeanor offense for possession of paraphanalia, in which I am currently serving one year of probation. (This happened 2 years ago)

With this said, I am hoping to be prepared for what consequences are to come.

I would like to note something: My court date was originally scheduled for March of 2007 but when I arrived for court, I was told that there was a mistake and I would be mailed another date within two months. It's now exactly one year later and I only now received this rescheduled letter...most likely such a long time because I waived my right to a speedy trial. My question is: Will the court take this past year into consideration when serving my sentence?

I take not hearing from the court for a year as a blessing in disguise. I've completely changed my life in this year- doing a 360. I've had no police interaction whatsoever, no drug use and absolutely no illegal doings and will have testimonials from my probation officer, director & doctor of substance abuse clinic and pastor...I can show that bills were paid on time, have had all clean urinalysis tests, etc.

Will providing letters from these individuals showing that I have changed allow me any ounce of leniancy from the judge/D.A. in regards to not going to jail?
I'm a 20 year old, well-rounded guy from a great family who's done his best to change and will continue to do his best...I'm only hoping to hear some good things to prepare me for what's coming.

Does anyone have an idea of what might happen?
