If you're a defendant in a sexual assault case, you almost certainly will need a criminal attorney. This is not a matter to even try to handle yourself. You're probably also concerned with immigration matters. While I am not licensed in Canada, I believe that they have the same procedure as in the U.S., where the outcome of your criminal case will determine whether it may affect your legal status as an immigrant in Canada.
