Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Shop Lifting in Universal

Hi, yesterday 04/08/10 I did the most stupid thing which was shoplifting in Universal Studio in Orlando and got caught. Cause I was born on 04/23/92, so will they treat me as 18 years old boy? Because, they not really look at my Date of Birth while I just told them I am 17. And they asked me wait for 4-5 weeks for the package and follow the instruction inside and pay fee and do not need go to court. But after 4 or 5 weeks, I will turn 18, so what will be my problem now? Plz help me.

It appears, from your post, that have chose not to file criminal charges. If so just follow instructions on packet and this will be over.

But why we have to wait for 4-5 weeks for the package? Why it took for a long time waiting like this?
