Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft shoplifting 16 yrsold

Hello,
Im 16 years old i got cought shoplifting 12$ cosmetics(retail store). The lp took down my DOB,adresss,name and my height and weight. He said i wont be going to court i just have to pay a fine 3times or more the amount i stoled and if i dont then they will press criminal charges. Im just worried if my name would be on the national retail theftdatabase??? Im worried plz help iknow what i did was wrong trust me i learned my lesson and i disappointed my parents
I never signed anything neither my parents . He just gave me a paper that says asset protection recovery. Im just really worried my name is on the national retail theft detabase!??

Are you saying it shouldn't be? Why shouldn't a confessed shoplifter's name be there?

We have no way of knowing if your name is in the national retail theft data base or not.

Ahh, relax, no one was killed. You're a kid, don't do stupid stuff, graduate from high school, keep your nose clean, live your life.

Not all stores use these databases. As a retail theft consultant I have access to some of this info send me an email or PM with name of store (NEVER post store names publically) and I can tell you if they are a subscriber to any retail theft database

Also, some (most is my understanding) retail theft databases don't accept names of minors under 18. The store may keep their own record though. The National Retail Theft database says need to be 18 or older to report a theft to them.
