Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Shoplifting and re entry

hi.
My sister was a international student in CA last year.
She was arrested for shoplifting and charged with misdemeanor. She took dress worth of 87$. After that she was fined by 800$ which included court cost. But she never paid the fine and left USA.
She is not planning to go USA again. I know it her fault but she just couldnt pay.
But today i heard that my parents are going to USA for 2 weeks.
I am worried that at the port of USA that they will be denied because of my sisters shoplifting prior.
Do you think its possible. Should I and my sister worry about this.
Also my parents had never been to America before.
