Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft shoplifting first offense CA

i am 18. i got cought shoplifting in california and it was my first time doing it and my biggest mistake. i only took two items and it was about 25 dollars. i got arrested and the cops took my picture and gave me a ticket, i have to appear in court at the beginning of january. the cop circled misdemeanor. i wanted to know:
1. how should i dress?
2. should i plead guilty? i am guilty..
3. does anyone know how much my ticket will be and if i'll get probation?
4. will this stay on my record?

Court fines (there will be others)should be less than $500.00

Now here is what you need to do right now. Start calling Lawyers. Doesnt matter if your going to hire them. Most offer free consultations. Get as many as you can. Get as much info as possible. Ask about Diversion. Then if you cannot afford one of these Lawyers ask for Public defender when you go to court. Discuss with the Public defender what you learned from those consultations. Once again ask about Diversion
