Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Shoplifting

So my friend and I were caught shoplifting (and yes I know that shoplifting is a bad thing). I already know that the claim fine or what not in Missouri can be no less than 100$ and no more than 250$. What I don't know and would like to know is what information is included in the letter that will be sent to my house in 2-3 weeks. What will it say? Will it include that I admit to shoplifting? Will it go on my record? Will it say what I attempted to take? Or will it just say that it's a claim for damages/loss and how much money to send?

If you are talking about the letter from the store, it would be asking you to pay some money to them or something about a civil suit. It would have nothing to do with the state crime………The state crime would go on you record and you would have to expunge or seal it per your state's law.
