I'm banned (for 1yr) from a retail chain store because of the shoplifting. Now I have moved to another town and the closest retail store to my new home is one of their chain stores. I want to go there shopping (shopping only) but not sure if the other store have sent my info to all of there chain stores or not. Could you please help?

I wish we could. We dont know what info if any was sent to all the stores chains. Here is one possible solution. Since its been a year call the store you want to visit. Ask for the store Manager tell him about your mistake of a year ago. Then ask him if you could give you permission to shop at his location? Chances are he will say yes. Make sure you get his name. If at any time you are stopped (not likely) give the person(s) stopping you the name and that he gave you permission to shop there. You could also call the Store's corporate office and ask for ban to be lifted as well. If for some reason the Manager or Corporate says no then shop elsewhere until ban is over

Technically you will be trespassing. I do not advise going into the store in the same state because you could be arrested for trespassing and that is something that you do not want. I am sure there are other stores that you can get the same merchandise in. Keep this in mind, retailers move LP around from store to store because of promotions or transfers or traveling LP teams.

Inside note: Most retailers do not enforce a trespass ban unless you are caught shoplifting again. They might ask you to leave, but most will not pursue it unless you steal again. Also different states have different trespass laws. A judge would be hard pressed to find you guilty on another states trespass law as he has authority on his state laws only.
