HI I was stopped for shoplifting

They let me go but today 2 weeks later I received a letter in the mail from an attorney stating that I owe them $150.00 should I pay it?

You have no obligation whatsoever to pay the fee. You don't have to pay anything at all unless ordered to by a court.
Whether you SHOULD pay the fee depends on various factors. I suggest you take the letter to a local attorney for some quick advice on how these matters are typically handled in your area.

If they do take it to court (which law allows) you can owe a thousand or more! They could also file a criminal complaint as well
