My 2 friends and I were caught shoplifting, we took make up, alcohol, and coriciden. Will we be charged with mip and petty larceny? I'm not sure what's going to happen

How old are you? If you are under 18, you need to definitely tell your parents & have them get you a lawyer. Talk to no one else about this. If you are not a minor - you are 18 or older (you still can't have alcohol in your possession until 21 N.Y.), you still need a lawyer - you can ask him/her any questions you might have. You might ask the lawyer about ACD or diversion.

I am a Retail Theft consultant and answer questions like yours daily. Your asking if you will be charged and for what crime or crimes correct? Were Police called day you were caught? Did store say they were filing a Police complaint? If charged I suspect you will see multiple charges this will make ACD or Diversion hardly to get. Make no admissions and answer no Police questions without an Attorney.
