Hello,

A month ago my father and I leased a vehicle from a major Auto company(he cosigned for me). Everything went smoothly and was signed, I was given the car and was on my way. Now a month later they are coming back to me requesting proof of residency for the Bank which was submitted to the dealer already. The paperwork hasn't even been processed by the bank and the dealer said they may cancel the deal because the paperwork was submitted after the 30day mark. The error is on the dealers end because they did not contact me asking for more verification until the very last minute and sent the paperwork in late. What can I do to fight this?

You can't fight it, mate.
If you want to still do the deal, you need to find out what is still needed and by whom, so that the deal can be processed.

If you have to take the car back, you'll be required to pay fees for using the car for 30 odd days, mileage, wear and tear, and daily use.

If the car has dents and dings that aren't pleasing to the dealer, you're responsible for those, too.

I suggest you meet with your father and ask him to help you sort this out, as he will eventually be impacted if the car is returned.

Before you ask anymore questions, it is to your advantage to read EVERY piece of paper issue dto you about the deal.

Why?

Most of your answers are detailed exhaustively among that mound of paperwork.
