Signed over power of attorney to estranged brother

Hi all,
I had signed over and power of attorney for an estate from a passed away father when I was very young and didn't know any better.
It's been now 25 years and is there a way to revoke that power of attorney that was signed over to him?
I realized it was a very bad choice because there's no communication and if there's a sale of the estate which almost happened here over the last couple months for the first time in over 20 years and he denied the sale so I'd like to try to get my power of attorney back if it's possible or since it was a power of attorney on five family members is there anything that can be done?
This was an international subject the power of attorney was for a property in Italy and I reside in the United States.
It was my father's house that passed away a very long time ago and my brother had us all signed power of attorney to him and he he estranged everybody he won't talk to anybody about anything.
Thanks

One of life's many lessons is STOP and deliberate/debate with yourself before AGREEING to ANYTHING.

Your best move 1/4 of a century after the fact is to let it go and move forward with your life.

Once the bell has been rung, the glass broken, or the dirty deed has occurred, learn to LET IT GO.

Live in the present, as mere mortals have no ability to UNDO anything we've done.

What we can do is THINK, DELIBERATE, WAIT before agreeing to anything or doing MOST things!!!

What we often do in haste, often leads us to waste!

You will need to seek guidance from someone familiar with Italian law as it relates to the matter.

Huh?

As long as you're mentally competent, you can revoke a power of attorney at any time. However, your situation seems to be more complicated than a simple grant of a POA, so I'm not sure that's helpful. Please explain the relationship between your father's estate and your grant of a POA to someone.

if there's a sale of the estate which almost happened here over the last couple months for the first time in over 20 years

Despite having died a quarter century ago, your father's estate is still open? Also, what does "a sale of the estate" mean?

he denied the sale

Who is "he"? What does "denied the sale" mean?

it was a power of attorney on five family members

Huh? You cannot grant a POA over persons other than yourself.

Ummm...houses don't "pass away" (i.e., die).

Frankly, your situation seems way beyond what can be done on an online message board, but I'm really not sure I understand the situation at all, so please try to explain the situation a bit better.

In general in the U.S. you may revoke a power of attorney that you give someone else at any time, assuming you are mentally competent. However, the problem is that the power of attorney relates to property in Italy and it's Italian law that matters. Italian law and probate processes are significantly different from that in the U.S. so you need advice from an Italian lawyer for this.
