My lil sister was fired from her job for no reason. Her manager sent her home the day before then they took her off the schedule. The next day she called to see when she returns and they told her to make am appointment to she the manager. When she went they called her in the office and asked her if she wanted to confess and she asked about what? they accused her of stealing and they had it on tape. She asked thenm to show her the tape and he told her he didnt have to. Next he asked her if she wanted to call the police and she asked him to called them. He just turned away and told her, well you are no longer with us. I dont want her to work there anymore, I just dont want that to be the reason, she cant find a job if a employer calls and they explain that thats why she was fired. What should i do.

YOU should do absolutely nothing. This is not your fight. You do not have any legal standing to get involved in your sister's employment issues.

Nothing you have posted is either illegal discrimination or slander. IF at some point in future the employer says that your sister was fired FOR STEALING (as opposed to being suspected of theft, which is true and which they are allowed to say) THEN she may be able to take legal action. Until then, she can file for unemployment and look for a new job.

ok. thank u, I just wanted to know. I felt that it was my fight becuz she is a minor and i have custody, but thank u, this info was very informal.
