Consumer Law, Warranties Smartphone permanently locked, not disclosed to consumer

I bought 2 Samsung Galaxy S4 phones from Straight Talk and WalMart. Later, when I tried to change carriers, I found that the phones are permanently locked to Straight Talk and are designed such that they cannot be unlocked. This information was not made available to me by either WalMart or Straight Talk until I tried to change carriers and contacted Straight Talk tech support. I want to sue for replacement phones that can be unlocked, Samsung Galaxy S4, and for the plans I'm forced to purchase from Straight Talk to keep my phone active. Can I do this, and how?
