Hi guys, I have a few questions regarding software.
My teacher hired me to find all the information regarding game software.
He wants to know the following:
1. He has a word document with all the game descriptions and images. What should he do with his idea and his word document in order to insure safety of his idea?
2. Who do I contact to make proper legal arrangement for copyright, patent, etc.
3. He wants to contact a game developer who might create his game based on the info in the word document. How should he procede and not have his idea, titles, etc stolen?
4. What exactly is a difference between patenting and copyrighting an idea, invention, etc?
5. Is an idea and a detailed description of a game enough to get a developer to make it?
6. If the game takes off and becomes popular and goes international, should he do protect his product additionally?
