Situation: I got an MIP being in my friend's car who got pulled over for having an open container. The cop didn't ask and I never admitted at any time that any of the beers were mine.
1. Is there any way that I can reasonably say "not guilty" and win?
2. When I got the MIP it was 4 or 5 days before my 21st birthday. After my 21st birthday passes, can I just pay the ticket off normally instead of showing up in court and having to deal with community service, license suspension, etc.
3. In the case that I have no choices but to plead not guilty can I ask for deferred adjudication or if not, what are my choices for expunging the misdemeanor from my records.
Thanks. If you could, could you also email me the answers... linhonglinh@hotmail.com
