I was going about 95 on 65. When I got pulled over, the cop wrote me 111. I knew for sure I wasn't going over 100 because I never got a speeding ticket. That night, I was a designated driver for my friends. I wasn't familiar with his car. That was why I went so fast when I got on the freeway. Then I slowed down when my friend in the back told me I was going over 90. By the time I was slowing down, the cop was already behind me. And I was trying to argue with the cop, but my friends told me not to say anything until they left.

I went to the court a couple days ago. I plead "not guilty" because for one, I wasn't over 100, second, the fine was $1765, plus license suspension. I bailed myself out with $200. But I was scheduled to the trial next month.

Can anybody give me some advise? PLEASE HELP

Rule # 1 Never argue with the officer on the side of the road.
Rule # 2 Hire an attorney when you violate Rule # 1.
