Hi. About a month ago, I recieved a 20 over ticket that was completely wrong. This is a long post so bare with me.

Alright it's Friday! 6:00pm and Im out of work! I take a right onto Moorland Road (im traveling South) and I am going to the Brewers game at seven so I was excited. Im doing about 50mph and along side of me is a Lime Green Eclipse that works with me doing the same speed.

Now, as I am looking down the road, I see this New Berlin police officer traveling North bound on Moorland Road. I watch him all the way up to when he passes my car. The police officer just stare's at me as I drive by. Now I look in my rear view mirror and what do I see? I see that cop pulling a fast U'ey and Speeding up. At this point, I am stoped at the light on Cleveland Ave, attempting to turn left. My friend with the eclipse is next to me and I told him that one of us is getting pulled over, most likely me. And what do you know? The cop pulls right behind me when I am turning. As soon as I turn, he turns on his lights and pulls me over. This is where the fun begins.

Officer comes up to my window "Hello, I am officer Kaye, can I please have your driver's license." So I give him my license and he says "How fast were you going?" I said "about 50mph" He says "I clocked you doing 60mph on Moorland" At this point I'm like what the fuck? :? He then asks me how old I am and how is my driving record (which is spotless by the way). He asks me if I was racing that green eclipse. I said "No sir, I was just getting off of work and I am going to the Brewers game. I got free tickets."

At this point, he asks me if I had anything to drink. (For those of you who don't know me, I have never consumed alcohol in my life) So I told him no. He then asks me if I was intoxicated :? Again I say "I don't drink sir." He was like "OK, sit tight I will be right back" So, about 10 mins later he comes back and says "Well, here is your drivers license and I had to right you a citiation. You were doing 20 mph over the posted speed limit which is a little fast even on Moorland. The cost is $126.80 and results in 6 points." WHAT THE FUCK!! 6 points?!?

He then explains to me about court date and whatnot and mentions to me 3 times that I don't have to show up in court rather pay the fine. He then said "Have a good day and drive safe" Ya, I'll show you a good day.

So, ya there you have it. He clocks me going 20 over comming towards me, writes me a 126 dollar ticket and 6 points off my license. Now on the ticket he wrote that he pulled me over on Moorland and he was on Lincoln which makes no sense.

Failure to obey Traffic control signal

I was traveling up Layton Ave towards HWY 100 tonight. I am at about 75th and Layton and the light turns yellow. So I proceed to go threw it. The light turned red right as the back end of my car is about to pass the white line on the other side of the road. Well, as I am going threw the light, my girlfriend says "hey there is a cop." He was traveling Northbound on 76th (towards Best Buy, so he was on my Left). So I pass the light and next thing I know I see red and blue lights go on. What do you know? He pulls me over.

He comes up to my window and says "Hello." At this point, I hand him my Drivers License and he asks "Do you know why I pulled you over?" I responded "No, not really sir." He then looks at me and says "You ran that red light". He said it kind of like What the !@# do you mean you don't know why I pulled you over? kind of tone. I said "Sir, the light was yellow when I went threw the intersection." He immediatly says "Bull, I watched you go threw that light. I watched you all the way threw." I then said "If it was red, which I know it wasn't, I would not be able to make a safe stop." I then tell him that my brakes are bad and I pointed at my ANIT LOCK light that was on and said "I am just trying to get home to park it." (Which I actually was) He then says, "What? Your brakes are defective? I could right you a ticket for defective brakes." At this point I am thinking in my head, What the @!#$ are you talking about? There is no way you could give me a ticket for defective brakes.

So he then says "Hang tight, I will be right back." Ya, he was RIGHT back alright It took him 25 minutes to come back with a ticket. The ticket is "Violation of a traffic control signal" which is $78.50 and 4 points. So now the cop (after being an @$$) starts to be nice to me and says, "Well, you have a clean record so you should talk to the City attorney and tell him that you have a clean redord and he could lower your points." At this point I am so livid I just say "okay, thank you sir" He then says, "Have a nice night and drive safe." I said "you too ".

Part II

Remember when I got that 20 over speeding ticket with the cop comming at me in a big group. Well, I went to court to plead not guilty and talked to the D.A. I show him that the officer wrote down the WRONG street I was pulled over on, and I showed him that he wrote down my Driver's License WRONG. On top of that, I was in a big group and how can he radar me comming at me?

Well the D.A told me that the cars had radar that can gun you comming at you. (I already knew this) When he commented on the wrong place and license, he said the officer makes mistakes, its know big deal. I said "no big deal? For all you know that is NOT ME with the wrong drivers license number and he pulled me over on CLEVELAND not LINCOLN. That is a 1/4 mile difference. All he said was that What he wrote down on the ticket is where he radar'd me. I said, "Funny, how can an officer radar someone when he is at a complete stop? ( I was at a red light on Lincoln ave) He just said "i don't know, I am taking the officer's word."

He then reads me the officers notes which is full of BS. It said that he was traveling northbound when he saw a Black vehicle trying to pass another car (First off, I wasn't passing ANY car. I was in the same lane for a mile) He estimated my speed to be 60 mph (Hmm how good of an estimater are you when a car is comming at you) He then said he checked his radar and what do you know, it said 60mph. Ya right.

Any help would be appreciated!
