My boyfriend got a speeding ticket In the Outer Banks in June...70 in a 55, which is high enough for a mandatory court appearance. We were told that we could hire a lawyer since we live in Ohio, but it is pretty expensive. Is it legal for us to give Power of Attorney to a relative we have there who is willing to appear for us? Can we do this quickly? Thanks

hi..I had car accedent on 2002..after almost 4 years i had to accept the settlement under a big pressure from my lawyer but i was still not recovered from my injury but for some reason another lawyer start caling me to till me about the offer and she finished everything over the phone even they did not give any options i mean i wanted to see my lawyer but for some reason he was not able to see me anymore so every time i was asking about him the answer was (he has a trial, he is out of town and another excuses) so i was in no where and also the other lawyer started calling me at work and pushing me to accept the settlement ..now i am still not felling ok..a friend told me that this lawyer shouldn't treated me like this and i can go after his insurance and sue him, so is that possible and how so please i need the answer ....::confused:
