speeding on route 9 IN NJ(NY driver)

i was going 79 in the 55 zone. at 2 am on 1/22/06 there was no cars around me and near me like in the 1 mile radius. the ticket also states road was dry no traffic and visibility was clear. is there any way i can reduce a ticket by going to court i understand my guilt and im willing to pay just need to lower my excess of speed limit to 15-19 mph or less because from 20 and up in NJ u have to pay double which is like 200$ total end up aroudn 400$. also im concerning aobut points. is the points transferreble from NJ to nY ? on NY DMV website its saying that its not but some ppl in this forum saying that it is transfereble. thanks for help. it was also a municipality polie officer of Old bridge NJ.
