I got pulled over for speeding 51 in a 40...after getting home i read the ticket and noticed that the officer claims to have pulled me over at 11th and shadeland....we were at 10th...10th street is a major intersection with a stop light...11th is a side street.....I go out the next day and discover that at 11th street the speed limit changes to 45mph (a posted sign at 11th)...on the ticket he claims that it's a 40....South of 11th street its a posted 50mph...I contest the ticket...court date nears...officer takes a medical...future date tbd...also the offense changes from speeding to "slow moving vehicle blocking traffic"...it was 3:40 am...i was traffic...i wait and wait for my day in court. i get laid off from work and take a new job in texas. still waiting on court date. i get pulled over in texas and now discover that dl is suspended??? What do i do...I dont want to pay a ticket that i shouldnt have been pulled over for. i cant afford an attorney, can i sue the state or the officer?
