Speeding ticket from us live in Canada

I received a ticket in Washington State which i have yet to pay. I live in Canada and was wondering if this will be a problem when i try to enter the states for a vacation. Does customs run my plate to see if i have a ticket, will they make me pay it on the spot, will they let me in? any help would really be appreciated.

The only way to tell what is happening is to call the Washington Department of Motor Vehicles and see if they have suspended your right to drive or call the court to see if they have issued a warrant. It just depends on if you are in the NCIC.

Therin lies the problem. im having trouble trying to find out who to call and find their numbers. I have lost the ticket, so i am not sure who to call. thanks for the advice
