Speeding ticket in PA

I received a ticket on I-81 in Pennsylvannia over the weekend. I have two questions:

1. If I plead guilty and pay it, will it show up on my Connecticut license?

2. The fine was for $75, but there are 3 other line items that were not explained to me that add up to $90. The are for Judicial Computer Upgrade program and other things like that. If I plead guilty and just pay the fine and not the additional $90, will that close the case? I don't feel that I should have to pay all of that when I do not know what it is for.

Pennsylvania Speeding Ticket

Yes. While a few states do not enter out of state speeding tickets, Connecticut is not one of them.

Many states are adding surcharges to speeding tickets for a variety of items due to budget shortfalls. Speeding tickets are basically a road tax and you have been selected to pay your share. If you do not pay or otherwise settle the speeding ticket they will suspend your license and issue a warrant for your arrest.

Tickets in PA

Well PA has a big scam going over in Pittstown PA right now. Actually for quite sometime they have had it. My husband drives everywhere. And he is such a ticket magnant. He drives these large expensive GM vehicles. He works for GM and gets a new co. car every 20k miles. That is normally about every 3 months. And since for the past year or so GM is having issues selling things like Escalades, he gets these types of vehicles. And they are loaded. Pearl White. Expensive looking and big. So he drives to an account and goes through Pittstown PA knowing that the cops there give tickets to anyone and everyone, but they are not point tickets. Just a way to collect money for the town. He watches very carefully as he approaches to make sure he does nothing wrong cuz anytime he goes through this town he gets a ticket for something. Again it is not a point ticket. Well just today he is going through town. Just snowed here last night. Going down hill, speed limit is 55. Going down hill braking and his speed is 58. Gets to bottom of hill and cop stops him. They go back and forth with the whys of the ticket and instead of the cop putting on the ticket doing 58 in a 55 he says well you didn't obey the sign so ticket for not obeying the sign. 100 bucks no points. I said to him no no no, you should force him to give you the speeding ticket. He is like no then it is points. I say no you go to court and fight it. What Judge is going to say yes 3 miles over the speed limit and proceed with giving the ticket. The cops there do this all the time with everyone. And oddly enough other GM employees that drive those big expensive cars that go through this town...the same thing happens to them. And the copys will not give a speeding ticket. Unless you are going 10 miles over. They put different stuff on the ticket that is a no point tkt so you don't go fight it and just pay it. I said all of you need to start fighting these. He is like and the point. We get to court and it is his word against mine regarding the sign. The info they put on these tickets is so incredibly vague as well. So I have come to the conclusion based on the info I have received from his fellow GM employees and the one time I was with him that this is a total scam. Just a way for Pittstown to get money. So....I have decided to contact the local media about this and see if they will do a story. I know there are those Fox 5 problem solvers and other news stations that like to take stories just like this. Someone needs to stop this towns officiers from doing this. I am sure that this was passed down from maybe the Mayor of the town. The Mayor probably said funding is low and you officiers want your job you will need to do this. I mean you might as well tell firefighters to go set fires so they can put them out to keep their jobs. Or tell the cops to do stage robberies so they can go fight the crime and keep their jobs. It is such a sickening scam. I told my husband QUIT GOING THROUGH THIS TOWN. He said I have no other way to get to my account. I told him then drive 55 exactly or 50 in this town regardless. I can't keep paying these darn tickets. I have to take the 100 bucks out of savings cuz I can't afford it. He said why r we so broke? I said cuz we live in PA where our property tax is 751 a month. Another scam that the state of PA has going on. Our so-called 751 property tax goes partially to the schools here in PA and PA state say they have the top schools in America. That is a bunch of BS. The avg teacher here gets 56k a year. That is the same amount my hubby gets. I think we both might have to get teaching certificates and become teachers.
